Another attempt at making a little film. Once again this was all filmed using Super 8 with an old Minolta I bought off ebay for about $15. Haha, a precision piece of equipment it is not!!

Music was taken from Creative Commons and credit is given to the artist at the end. As with pretty much every film I've ever done, i don't think it fits perfectly but what do you expect when you are pulling something off the internet for free?

A good chunk of this footage was done about two years ago with one of my favorite models. It's hard to tell but she is actually frolicking in the snow.

The concept is stunning in itself. I like the fact that your model reflects the dream world, both inside and outside of reality. However, she seems to be filled with sensual trance as far as the first concept goes, more so than the second where expressed her freedom in the natural world.

Again, I appreciate the experimental touches you have included in this one. :) Mind if I ask how old the model was back in the day?

@03:14Nice idea but for my feeling a bit to long and to bad it isn't edited to the music.

But got to love 8mm

Nice.

I have a question. I do a lot of 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm transfers myself. I use a telecine altered from an old Agfavision projector. So... did you do the transfer yourself - or have some service do it for you?

I do it myself just projecting the footage onto a wall and recording off of that. It's not the best method on earth, but it works ok.
